Part of the fun of Austin’s job is that we never know where we are going, or when. After holidays with family and a short stint back in Chicago, we are heading to Haifa, Israel! This will be our first time in the Middle East and we are SO excited to explore this beautiful place. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons), we feel blessed to have the opportunity to explore the Holy Land and visit the places where Jesus walked, lived, taught, suffered, died and rose again. This is definitely a bucket list trip for us, and we’re excited to get going. As I’ve started to research places to see and things to do, I was a little surprised at all of the Roman ruins in Israel. We will be visiting those as well. What are your Israel travel tips? What should we do/see there?
